OUTstanding Cyclamen®

The best Morel varieties for outdoors

Each year, our varieties are rigorously tested for their outdoor performance. These “top of the top” varieties are to be preferred in more difficult climatic conditions, such as Northern Europe climate type. This selection brings you the guarantee of a lasting and aesthetic flowering in balcony, terrace and garden.

Note that not all varieties have been tested, especially in the Smartiz®, Midi + ® and Latinia® series, which have already demonstrated their excellent outdoor performance for a long time in Mediterranean or Californian climates types.

Important information for outdoor use

Cyclamen offer much pleasure to the gardener provided he chooses to place them in a sheltered spot away from heavy rains and prevailing winds. On a window-sill, in a porch, or in a flowerbox placed at the south side of the house for example. The best spot may vary according to the location.

Frost: cyclamen flowers dislike frost, but the buds under the foliage will remain protected and will be able to grow when the temperatures warm up again.

The leaves will remain decorative even after a period of frost down to -2°C /28°F.
Don't water excessively: in our tests we have noticed that an excess of water has a very negative effect on cyclamen, in the same way that frost does.
